My Yamaha P-35,its a lovely Black Digital piano with full Graded hammer Standard 88 full weighted keys,is now by the corner of my room, left untouched today.
I know there's something wrong with it,i can't even bare to not play the piano a day.
So,i came here to post my problem.
The digital piano,i bought it about 9 months ago,
it came with the Adapter, which is the PA-5D from YAMAHA.
But,on the site it stated my YAMAHA P-35 should be using a PA-150 power adapter.
So,the keyboard has a built in power consumption which every half hour,if the keyboard left untouched,it will automatically shut itself off.It has no power or faulty issues came up until last yesterday,it started to turn off itself within seconds.
Within seconds,1st,while playing, suddenly no sound is produce from the keyboard, but the lights were still on,then,it completely shut off within a minute.

I search the forum or any discussion related to my problem.
So far,i encountered 2. Still, doesn't have any solid answer to their question, now i hoping this post could actually provide me and also the others in the future a solid answer.

I take good care of the piano, very very good.
I clean the keys, clean those panels on top with a clean brush removing those dust, shut it off in a proper way including switching off the power outlet every time if i'm not at home.
YOU NAMED IT.

PLEASE,any ideas or solution just give it to me.

I love the piano very much,i could just sit their and listen to its sound even thou its not a song, hearing them just...

Maybe you'll understand.

I decided to make a call to the shop i get my digital piano at 10. (GMT+8)

P.S : Its still under a 1 year warranty, should i just replaced the adapter or the whole keyboard if i get the chance to change it?

So,update.
I sent my Yamaha P-35 to an authorised service centre.
Well, they told me that the motherboard had issues and needed to change the adaptor port as well.It takes about 1 months.
Well,i starting to lost my faith for Yamaha product because of this.
The digital piano i had for less than 9 months, had motherboard issues.
Good thing i still had it under warranty.1 year warranty, which deduct they had my digital piano under service, which only leave me only have a total of 11 months of warranty.I tried and call the person in charge and ask them whether they could extend my warranty for a month since, the digital piano is WITH THEM for a month. They said: NO.
Change the motherboard for my YAMAHA P-35,you see,i will expect there will more issues coming up after i get it back.

I wish you well on this. Don`t expect further issues; Yamaha stuff is usually fault free. But make sure everything`s OK for the remainder of your warranty . . . you should have got a "courtesy piano" to tide you over the month it was in custody .

UPDATE!

I just got my piano back within a month.Got a new motherboard replaced.
So,the thing is...the technician told me that the motherboard is broken.
One of the IC component had issues.Possibly before i purchase the digital piano.
He said MAYBE,just MAYBE during the assembly of the digital piano.
So,still think a good product to buy in future?
Or maybe i'm the unlucky one? Of there's one issues like mine, there will be more.
