Hi, I thought I'd try making some recordings to prepare for the suites e-cital in Nov. After about ten thousand takes I got this one within my flub tolerance:

I would appreciate any feedback people might have to offer!

Nice! Are you playing this on a keyboard? It sounded like it lacked a little bit of crispness in articulation to my ear, but that might be the explanation.

It's pretty good! I'd just suggest a little more work to make sure it's really even - there's a little tempo variation that feels like it's just due to the right hand being not quite confident enough.

Also, I don't have the score at hand, but I think there's at least implied, if not outright, polyphony in the right hand. I think you could make more of that smile

Good job!

Thank you for listening and critiquing Mark!

I should have mentioned it off the bat but you heard right - it is a digital. You have me thinking of points I could articulate differently, which may help bring out the implied polyphony in bars 13-14 and 41-42.

I was trying to put in some ritards to anticipate certain section changes which I think mostly failed now that you mention it, haha! Especially at the final cadential phrase, where bar 44 sounded more clumsy than deliberate. The same phrase in the first part (bar 16) seemed to work out better as just a crescendo.
