Hi, I spend too much time playing my piano ...

I live in a trailer in the woods, with an upright grand built in 1892.
I would love for you to listen to me play.

http://soundcloud.com/cory-little-3/what-used-to-be-at-my-122-year

I make hand drums and flutes, and consider guitar to be my main instrument

I enjoyed.

I came to the realization about 2-3 years ago that music was a communicative art. So I've resolved to try to communicate. So I put myself out there.

It's hard to put yourself out there like that, but it's worth it. Even to a world that's mostly not paying attention. And when you're feeling introspective, no harm in communicating with yourself, but don't stop communicating with others.

I haven't reached that stage yet, happy to play for you guys in online recitals but just as happy to plod along and keep it very personal.

Problems with piano are 90% psychological, the other 10% is in your head.

Do please post when you are ready. I spent a long time thinking I couldn't perform. And now I have some videos out there that I'm not exactly proud of. But I appreciate them as a record of my progress and I'm better because I dared to post them and continue posting them.

Nice. I just heard it, so your question is no longer valid. Thanks for sharing. I hope someone would still be playing my piano in 120 years and love it as much as you seem to. Great guitar effect there. There are moments that I thought it is a guitar.

Reminiscent of Tigran Hamasyan's "Leaving Paris." I enjoyed it.

For some, that's the only time it can be called music laugh.

Thanks for sharing here; I know how scary that can be. The out-of-tune upright suits the music well, makes the point that it isn't meant to be a pretty or relaxing thing. The low LH voice was a little repetitive for me, though.

Beethoven - Op.49 No.1 (sonata 19)
Czerny - Op.299 Nos. 5,7 (School of Velocity)
Liszt - S.172 No.2 (Consolation No.2)

Dream piece:
Rachmaninoff - Sonata 2, movement 2 in E minor

I came to the resolution that a musician that is not heard is actually creating a greater shift in the universal harmonic field, because the dissonance excites resolution, where as a well heard musician is more likely playing in phase with the greater population.

I enjoy playing music, more than being percieved as a musician,. I might just keep playing for the birds..

I realized a long time ago that the birds were easier to inspire than people, and they have been playing covers of my songs. I actually like their versions better.

If you're not listing, that's a tough question.

I believe music is akin to prayer. "Intimate solitude."

Enjoy.

Does "Music " qualify as a physiological or psychological sound?
