Very nice, haunting piece!
I'd not heard of this particular Bach. A fairly short-lived fellow!

Thanks Recaredo! I enjoyed listening to it this morning. What a beautiful piece. I've never listened to any music by Wilhelm F. Bach. Thanks for the introduction! smile

Nice to seem some activity in the thread from some other voices. Thanks, folks, for dropping by and keeping Recaredo company, who's been a pillar of strength here. smile

My last two postings were both from albums where I just had to replace the vinyls with CD's, The White Album and Electric Warrior. This was another, Uriah Heep's Very 'eavy, very 'umble. This was perfect material for my learning to sing while banging out heavy riffs instead of strumming chords. The solo here was what prompted me to invest in a wah-wah pedal, a Coloursound fuzz-wah-swell that got noise in the pots so I invested later (much later) in a Jim Dunlop Cry Baby which I still use today.

I still listen to and play from this album as much as Deep Purple's Machine Head.

I know you guys have a lot of fun out here. I've often poked in to take a quick look see. But, listening a little bit more lately. Love the B3 in the Heep, Richard. Wow, Tchaikovsky in one thread and ... laugh . This is great stuff.

Hope you don't mind me jumping in suddenly with this. Here is a local girl that did quite well that I was always fond of.

I'll be on the road today and was looking for something to listen to. Here is an old 45 I came across. Thought you might enjoy this one Richard. Conrad Gozzo was considered the best lead man of his time. He died too young at 42.

I SPLASHED THE CASH ON THE MUSIC for piano accompaniment and vocals. I just combine the notes as best I can. But I want to do a multi instrument version too. There`s some nice guitarry stuff in there.

Hope all's well with everyone smile

Hi everyone! It's good to see old friends and new posting on RST. I hope we will hear from Rossy some time.

I do considerably less long distance car travel these days. This used to be one of my favorites.

Enjoy and have a good weekend.

I first heard this a couple of years ago, I can't remember where. It may even have been posted on this thread. I was drawn to it then and even more so now. I'm going to have to learn it I think.

Indeed you should learn it, timmyab. It is a great piece. Plus, you can never go wrong with Bach.
