Are you know why is it?

Ive seen this on the PTG group on Facebook. I cannot comment as I am not a tuner but I see he plucks the string with a guitar plectrum.

Hi,LarryShone
If possible, would you be kind enough to post a link to a discussion( where he plucks the string with a guitar plectrum). Because it is very important to the Max

Max,

Wouldn't this make more sense in the tuner/tech forum?

Marty in Minnesota

It's much easier to bash a Steinway than it is to play one.

Max's issues in the tech forum notwithstanding, I remember in Note By Note, the Steinway documentary, they did the preliminary tunings with a plectrum and they called it "chipping" . In the case of the russian video, to me it's clear that the guitar pick makes it easy to pick a single string without bothering with mutes.

Hi Max,

Nice video.

I've seen that video before... I'm always looking to learn something new in regards to tuning pianos as well as playing the piano. I'm in the early stages of both.

As far as your acceptance over on the technician's forum, don't give up on those guys yet. Their a tough group but the collective knowledge they have is vast... smile

As far as why you got 300 views in one day, I'm not sure. One of my YT music videos got over 300,000 in one week. It's a mystery to me... smile

Hi, Rick
Glad that you liked my movie. I tried to make it useful for a wide audience. As an English-overs it is understood that the girl says?
I would like to be helpful to our Forum technicians and acquire new knowledge here. But all the technicians ignor me.
Yes 300 in one day. It surprised me. But I do not know why it happened and who watched and where it's was

At least have a strange position on the forum Piano Technicians Guild (PTG). At the beginning here put my video called "Count Pushkin presents."
http://youtu.be/WZ2SxSG90U0
Why Puskin? Max tells about how need keep handle of a hammer during a tuning a piano only. Then enough they mocked of Max's wrench and other bad things was wrote here. Today admin deleted this clip and comments without explanation.
sorrowfully...
