Hi Mark
Thanks for listening and for your kind comment. I must be increasing in confidence as that was my third chorale.

Hi Poly
It's definitely a bizarre one.
The pick-up is G7, m2 is C maj.
There's also E min in it.
The middle of the coda is A min.

Very nice Cus. Sounds like a tricky one. Each invention it seems presents its own set of difficulties.
The piano sounds perfect!

My apologies if I sound rude, but isn't it a little on the slow side?

Thanks Knotty. Yes it was a tricky one and the good thing is that the triplet feel is hopefully directly translating to my jazz.

Hi Poly
I thought you'd say that smirk
My aim here was to practice triplet feel legato.
One day maybe a second aim will be to play fast and detached.

Hey CATS
Here I play Vom Himmel hoch da komm'ich her (no. 40 in Kalmus edition)
Interesting voice movement plus cool secondary dominants.

Hi Cus,

Sorry I missed this post until now. You played this very well. I'm going to follow you lead and play a little Bach today.

Thank you Knotty and Mark.

Knotty
For your F maj one, did you manage to find a recording to play along with ? I'm having trouble finding one.
Anyway you played it so nicely, this might be the one I do next.

I'm going to play one, I think, but there are so many I can't pick. Any suggestions? laugh

Hey Poly,

Of the handful I played, I would say I liked Freuet Euch, ihr Christen best.

I just started on Aus Tiefer Noth... and that sounds really cool also. However I think some of those are meant to be played in a larger context. This latter one (#10) ends on the dominant chord and really feels like it needs to resolve.

Hi Poly,
Any advice on how to read or approach the chorales would be very welcome.
