Okay folks, this thread is becoming more and more bizarre and more like a soap opera than a piano forum.

Terry, I’m not saying that you have, but if you have misrepresented yourself here on the forum, it will come back to haunt you in some form or fashion. I must admit that your story about the multiple partners all named Terry and all the high-end pianos you have owned have my head spinning.

I will leave this thread open for now, but the moderator team is looking in to this situation. We don’t want to accuse someone falsely or make accusation that are not true, but multiple forum names by the same person are not allowed, unless approved by Frank Baxter; and there has to be a good reason.

If you are not the same person as the other Terry, and everything you say is true, then we will leave it at that.

Piano World has a strange and unusual way of policing itself to an extent… but like Ken Knapp said in your other thread that got locked, we don’t want witch—hunts, castle storming or cyber-posse action going on here.

And have you noticed that they all link back to the bobterrybubba email address?
Maybe his next sign in name should be Cleopatra....
Sheesh Terry, pretty soon some of us will start thinking you're advertising for someone.

Yes I did notice that... which is why I made my initial posting.

My observation is with Dara: we have 1 person with 3 identities entering lengthy discussions about obscure brands and linked to the same dealer. At the very least, it is attention-seeking behavior. In the worst, it is a sock puppet with an agenda.

I don't pretend to know the rest of the story, but only a few days ago, the story was attacking another dealer's behavior. I now wonder if that was to drive sympathy, another attention-seeking behavior, or worse, a false accusation.

Terry, I hope this starts to make sense so that you remain a welcome member here. We like hearing about rare pianos, good dealers, and happy players.

Ok guys If you want the scoop here it is. Yes I have an obsession with fine pianos. I do not work nor am I advertising for some one else.I like to buy and trade pianos the way people buy and trade cars. There is nothing wrong with that. it's my money. However what is wrong is that yes i was deceitful, but for what i thought was a good reason. Please allow me to explain. It has become a joke in my circle of family and friends of how often i like to buy fine pianos. I am sure there is a 12 step program for this.I do not drink,or do drugs but buying pianos are an addiction for me. I must say a healthy one.I have owned everyone of the pianos that I have posted about. In fact if you look at the pictures you will see my collection of native American Art on the wall in all the photos. So i do not have any dealer connections other than my checkbook that goes to my dealer frequently.Because people can be judgemental here at times,I did not want to be made fun of because I trade pianos so frequently. I did not want smart comments from people that would say Buy the right piano and you won't trade again. However this is not true with me.I have loved every piano that i have bought. So I will probably trade this one in at sometime for something else i like. Do I loose money doing this.you bet cha. However my partner Bob of 22 years aand myself are ok with that.I have a neighbor that does the same thing with sport cars. So,to keep from being embaarassed,i would sign in under diffferent user names to avoid being ridiculed.I honesty did not know Rick that it was against forum rules. If i caused any harm to any other form members(which I do not believe i have)i sincerly apoligize. If I went against form rules then If I need to be banned,i can accept that.Yes i have been deceitful but it wasn't in any way shape or form meant to cause trouble. Again,i just wanted to save all the questions as to why I buy so many pianos. In my AA program I am supposed to admit when i am wrong or have harmed someone. Again if i did,You have my apology. Other than maybe break forum rules(which I did not realize i should not have used other names. However this does not make it right)I see where i have harmed noone. So the Soap opera is over. The main character has been the villian. So I hope the Witch hunt is over.Which I never wanted a witch hunt on my other post about the other dealer but some of you just like juicy gossip.I even wrote Ken and asked that the post about the other dealer be deleted as i felt It had gotton out of hand. I was just to blame as much as anyone else but I never wanted the Witch hunt that some of you seemed to thirst for.Ken can testify as to my post to PM to him. But this does not make it right. So, all the FBI work done by some on this forum was clever.Iguess enquiring minds want to know!! However there is no big story here to make headline news. Just me being stupid and trying to keep my piano obsession under wraps. I DID IT.I AM SORRY.i LIED BUT NOT WITH MALICIOUS INTENT.PLESE FORGIVE ME! One thing I do not apoligize for is my piano obsession! So there you have it.Well done to those of you that just love a good Sherlock Holmes mystery. Sorry the ending wasn't as juicy as you would have wanted it to be.Thanks to the forum members for hearing me out.As much as I wish I was perfect, the plain truth is i'm not nor will I ever be! Also thanks to Frank,Rick and Kep for your work on the forums. If I am to be banned,i completely understand and will have no grudges. Please excuse any errors as i am typing with one hand in a sling.

PS:My dealer can confirm how many pianos i have bought over 22 years. I think I'm up to around 15 and counting.

the one and only Terry. There was never two. God would have never made another one like me! LOL!

Wow. laugh

Thank you, Terry, for coming clean. Believe it or not, you have saved me and yourself from the unpleasant task of addressing the issue. You see, since there was a possibility that the rules were breached I had to do some checking and I knew much of what you posted above. So, as they say, honesty is the best policy and since you came clean I will simply get rid of your other screen names. smile

Don't worry about people judging your piano purchases. We are all friends here and while people do not take kindly if they believe someone is trying to deceive, everyone is usually supportive of each other and frankly, if you like swapping pianos around more power to you. smile

well, having an addiction to pianos is probably healthier than some other things I can think of!

guess it's like rich people who own 50 Ferraris (Ralph Lauren) just because they can.

This book informs the reader that he Feurich pianos were tested in 1996 by "Le Monde de la Musique" in France and received the "Diapason d'Or" for their excellence in tonality and piano building...

Good luck and best wishes from Kristina.

Thank you Kristina for the info.I am going to search for that book.Feurich pianos have always had such a very special tone!

Terry. Lol. I would love to meet you. I completely understand your obsession w pianos. I love pianos but can't go there but I did have an obsession over English shoes many years ago. I mean I was spending all my money on them and hiding them (from my wife) and reselling them and buying more and so forth. I kicked the habit and although I still get moved when I see a beautiful pair of English shoes at the mall I don't obsess over them anymore.
But I know where you come from. I was also sort of embarrassed over it because others would ask me or tease me on this (on other forums). Anyways this was what I was sort of thinking about you prior to the fess up because it seemed like the only explanation (from my deluded perspective lol)
I wasn't surprised it was the case. No malicious intent no troll nor sales affiliation.
Just a flat out sincere obsession over something that provides a lot of beauty.
Enjoy your feurich !!

My Grandma said to me 'a'biddy's queer save thee and me, and even thee's a little queer'

Yup, true!

Queer in this sense is just meaning slightly left field rather than anything else.

Seems too much coincidence to want to keep similar numbers after a breakup. But hey, you may be telling the truth.

That makes then two Feurichs and two Steingraebers in total? I think there is a need for a Terry 4758 and a Terry 2758 as well, unless each of hem would bring their own Feurichs and Steingraebers. You have any more specifics about those Steingraebers and Feurichs btw? In fact, how do they compare?

Frankini, that is March 7 1958.....

By the way I love the finish on the piano. Satin looks better to me which is why I opted for it too. It's also easier to maintain
