Wow. laugh

Thank you, Terry, for coming clean. Believe it or not, you have saved me and yourself from the unpleasant task of addressing the issue. You see, since there was a possibility that the rules were breached I had to do some checking and I knew much of what you posted above. So, as they say, honesty is the best policy and since you came clean I will simply get rid of your other screen names. smile

Don't worry about people judging your piano purchases. We are all friends here and while people do not take kindly if they believe someone is trying to deceive, everyone is usually supportive of each other and frankly, if you like swapping pianos around more power to you. smile

well, having an addiction to pianos is probably healthier than some other things I can think of!

guess it's like rich people who own 50 Ferraris (Ralph Lauren) just because they can.

I have a book called "Faszination Klavier - 300 Jahre Pianofortebau in Deutschland" (fascination piano - 300 years of Pianoforte production in Germany) by Prestel and the book contains many documented pages about the fascinating development of the Feurich company and their Pianoforte production since the foundation of the company.

This book informs the reader that he Feurich pianos were tested in 1996 by "Le Monde de la Musique" in France and received the "Diapason d'Or" for their excellence in tonality and piano building...

Good luck and best wishes from Kristina.

Thank you Kristina for the info.I am going to search for that book.Feurich pianos have always had such a very special tone!

Terry. Lol. I would love to meet you. I completely understand your obsession w pianos. I love pianos but can't go there but I did have an obsession over English shoes many years ago. I mean I was spending all my money on them and hiding them (from my wife) and reselling them and buying more and so forth. I kicked the habit and although I still get moved when I see a beautiful pair of English shoes at the mall I don't obsess over them anymore.
But I know where you come from. I was also sort of embarrassed over it because others would ask me or tease me on this (on other forums). Anyways this was what I was sort of thinking about you prior to the fess up because it seemed like the only explanation (from my deluded perspective lol)
I wasn't surprised it was the case. No malicious intent no troll nor sales affiliation.
Just a flat out sincere obsession over something that provides a lot of beauty.
Enjoy your feurich !!

My Grandma said to me 'a'biddy's queer save thee and me, and even thee's a little queer'

Yup, true!

Queer in this sense is just meaning slightly left field rather than anything else.

As far as I understand it, his grandma said that "everybody is a little weird except herself and him and even he is a little weird".

Seems too much coincidence to want to keep similar numbers after a breakup. But hey, you may be telling the truth.

That makes then two Feurichs and two Steingraebers in total? I think there is a need for a Terry 4758 and a Terry 2758 as well, unless each of hem would bring their own Feurichs and Steingraebers. You have any more specifics about those Steingraebers and Feurichs btw? In fact, how do they compare?

Frankini, that is March 7 1958.....

By the way I love the finish on the piano. Satin looks better to me which is why I opted for it too. It's also easier to maintain
