This is a piano cover I did last night using a sample library. Most of you probably never heard of this song before and probably wouldn't care because it's not an English song. I did this cover due to some high volume of people requesting for it. Things didn't go that well as expected, but thought I'd post this up just to see what kind of feedback I could get. What do I need to improve on performance wise? Which part do you like and which part you don't like? How is the sound? Does it interest you? Tell me your thoughts! smile

You only have a few hours before that option is locked - not sure how many exactly. If the edit button isn't there you've missed the boat. smile Just post again with any changes.

If you have the original song title and a youtube link then it would be easier to give some advice.

I had a quick listen and the melody is too plain for me, same chords/notes. Your playing is fine so no problems there. but it's a boring song to me.

The wind, thanks for your input. I understand. On my cover, I try endeavor to stay true to the original chords and mood while playing my own alternate version. The piano is intended to host the vocal alone. If you search the title you will find it on youtube. What kind of melody would you suggest me changing to stay interested?

Hi, hisgrace26! If you're intending this to be a solo piano arrangement of a song, you need to give much more predominance to the melody of the song. Right now, I'm hearing for the most part only the piano "accompaniment", so to speak -- which gets wearing, because it doesn't change enough at any point. Actually, I find the chordal progression and the rhythmic pulse quite interesting; enough to sustain interest throughout its length -- but I've got to hear the melodic contours and shape of "the song" itself to make this a more interesting listening experience.

Thanks for sharing this!
