I'm looking to get a digital piano for home and small stages. I looked in on the Yamaha models for a while now and since my school has the similar models in the practice rooms, I was able to test them out. I like them so far.

Id like to do a little bit of comparison test across each brands. Which models from Casio, Kawai, and Roland are comparable to Yamaha P155 in terms of Quality, Features, Sound and very competitive pricing of $900?

Kawai ES100, Casio PX-350 and PX-5S (no speakers), Roland F20, Korg SP280.

I think you can get the most bang for your buck with Casios. The PX-350 or 5X-S are good ones to check out, just remember that with stage pianos, you will need to spend a bit extra to buy a stand, bench, headphones, speakers, and sometimes a pedal.

That's the right list in terms of competitors in the price range.

Whether they are comparable in sound is subjective.

There are some pretty significant differences in features, the question would be which features the OP needs.

Also, the actions feel different.

If the feature set is being defined by the P155, then rather than the PX-350, you could look at the PX-150, which (like the P155) is more minimal in its capabilities. But the difference between standard MIDI jacks vs. USB MIDI might matter.

Personally, if I wanted a self-contained piano (i.e. turn it on and play), I think I'd pick the ES100. If the internal piano sound doesn't matter as much (i.e. you might trigger a piano sound in a laptop) or if the quality of the internal amp/speakers doesn't matter as much (i.e. you're going to play with an external amp when not using headphones), or if you want the lightest weight, I think that might shift the decision to one of the others... it all depends on what's important to you (as well as, of course, your own impressions of the sound and feel).
