Make of this what you will, even if you believe it's a hoax, but it's interesting up to a point, I suppose. Supposedly one of the great direct-voice mediums of the 20th century called up the spirit of Chopin and Chopin was recorded in a long narrative of his death and what he encountered on the "other side". He speaks of seeing beautiful colors, hearing unearthly music that he was not familiar with and meeting very good friends who greeted him warmly. There is a part 2 for those who might be interested.

Chopin Talking

But, I don't believe it's a hoax, I know it's a hoax. The people that do these things should be shot.

It's interesting as an insight into the spiritualist movement - as a piece of documented evidence that people do this. However Chopin is not speaking. Leslie Flint is speaking and pretending to be Chopin and I simply don't believe he was in contact with disembodied spirits.

You'd think Chopin would have something more interesting to talk about than such vague descriptions of dying. I would have asked "him" about "his" pieces.

I will not believe it until YouTube takes down all the Chopin videos because the composer demanded it.

Well, until you've been dead for that length of time, who are you to judge? A certain lack of focus may prevail.

[Disclaimer: I haven't brought myself to actually watch whatever this is you are talking about.]

I think that by now, many internet personas would've appeared to claim that they're typing what the spirits tell them.

I mean we have Kreisler, Horowitz, etc all as members in PW! I bet that behind their posts, it's the real, very real, spirits of these dead people! grin

The afterlife is quite comfortable. I am never lonely because I am constantly surrounded by all my ballades that continue to be re-murdered by new "pianists" every generaaaaaaaaaaaaation.

I can't even get Rosemary Brown because Liszt won't let me talk to her. Nor will he talk to me.
