Make sure you don't repeat my mistake and tell the search to look for greater than 1 weeks of posts.

Yamaha P105, Ravenscroft275, Ivory II Am Concert D, Sennheiser HD650.

New sound setup: Midi out to macbook, FW 800 to Metric Halo LIO 8 DAC to HD650's. Very Nice.

Try searching for a phrase using quotes, if that fails try using quotes and an asterisk for wildcard searching.

I find that the search can be VERY picky about what it returns in some instances, using your search query, I ended up with recital 33 as you did.

However, using this "Recital 32"* (yes with the quotes and *) it returns Recital 32 correctly.

General Knowledge in terms of I.T, but you can find many examples under the "Advanced Searches" of forums/search engines and the like.

Quotes basically define a phrase, which absolutely MUST match as specified by the user. The asterisk acts as a wildcard, there is also the "+" which says find anything with X AND Y and the "-" which says anything with X but NOT Y.

Although in most cases these are typically used as their logical terms "AND" "NOT" "OR" etc, e.g. on Google one could put "Easy AND Piano" without quotes to search for anything containing the words "Piano and Easy" rather than one or the other, of course, you could also do "Easy piano" with quotes to find that EXACT wording.

In fact (going off topic a little) Google has many features like site specific searching, try doing a search like this.

"site:www.pianoworld.com Recital 32" (without quotes) you will find it lists entries only related to this site smile very handy when you want something specific.

Looks like no one has posted on here in a long time. But nothing has changed. The search function on this forum is the worst in the world. Every thing on this forum is great except search.
