I saw that too . . .I`m watching it to see what it does go for. But don`t forget, it may have a fault . . . .but the ad. seems genuine enough.

I saw an LS15 (Roland) go for 1600 . . .This`ll probably do the same.

Of course it will go much higher in the last hour or so, but a great starting price, to be sure!

If I had the money I would bid, then check it at the seller's place and if any problem with the piano keys or sound let's see if he dares saying anything, he describes it as in perfect condition!

Really very annoyed that anything like this came up when I was looking for a new digital! mad

Well, bad timing.... life goes on...

Julian, I wanted it!!! but some months ago! cry

Bad timing, really. Had I had the money now I would have bought it and sell my CA65 later.

As I wasn't going to buy it, I thought that maybe somebody here would be interested and you might get a better price. Can I ask how much you are paying for ebay fees? confused

Sorry you had to sell it, especially at that low price. But well, you made somebody very very happy! grin

Hope you'll get something you like after the CA95.

Oh [censored]! me and my big mouth . . . Seriously, I love watching these auctions drawing to a finale; must`ve been a huge disappointment to you. Same has happened to me a couple o` times; I`m sure it has something to do with the seller`s location. "Try before you buy" sort o` thing . . .

I'm not actually too sure how much eBay is getting for that particular auction, I can only see how much I owe eBay in total, and that's 104 at the moment, but I also sold a laptop a few weeks ago which probably doesn't help.

I know it's a shame, but I'm only out about 300 from the minimum I was expecting to get, so I can live with it, even with a frown. But yeah, this guy got a great deal...

I just managed to get the piano downstairs ready for collection with the help of my dad... I'm reminded how insanely difficult it is to get a good grip and carry it, and 90kg is actually quite heavy, even over two people.

Once I've moved into the new apartment I will look at getting a much smaller, lighter and more compact model, hopefully with the same kind of features if not at least a decent hammer action on the keyboard. I've been eyeing up the Roland DP90e since last night... but it looks like I'll have to wait until April on that one. frown

Maybe the Kawai MP11. It has the same keybed as the CA95. 32 KG Slab type Piano.

Might be what he needs, I just think that being used to the CA95 action -and having lost money with its sale- it's going to be difficult to get used to another action and even harder to find a better one.

Well, if somebody is interested, there you are!

Bear in mind that, as far as I'm aware, the CA95 doesn't disassemble, so it couldn't be be broken down and put into the back of the average, medium sized, hatch back car, a specialist piano remover may be required, which could significantly add to the costs.

Thanks for trying to lift me up. smile

I seriously thought about it: taking in mind that it's not as heavy as an acoustic. Cost of a van hired for the day, petrol and even a dolly for ease of transport, under 100. Cost of specialist removal for a digital and transport, under 200. We are not too far.

Still far cheaper than new, and extremely well priced for a year old digital of this quality.

... but it's gone anyway...
