Ando,

Actually that's one of the first ideas I thought of. (Great minds think alike! grin ) The big concern is fittings that might scratch the piano when moving it around - cleaning behind it, connecting cables, etc. Nevertheless, I'll give you 9.7 for creativity and 8.6 for technical difficulty! thumb

Thanks,

Dan.

I'm happy with that score. Quite respectable but still room to improve. wink

LOL while playing them ppp with a half-pedal and slight crescendo in the middle followed by dim. And that's just the right hand!

Morodiene:

Glad to hear it. I find touch is fine after getting used to the new piano. Hey, top console action in a stage keyboard, no complaints here.

I made a custom cover the this keyboard with UV outdoor cushion fabric I had had left over from furniture project for my deck. If I figure a way to post pic. I will.

Dan, top of white keys to Mp11 top incline is 2.7/8 - 3". I'm sure you'll still have to disconnect everything and pull out bottom shelf no matter what install you choose. I always dread the disconnect too when I swap out major electronics.

GG

GG,

This is perfect! This means that the MP11 can be installed with a 3" gap between the top of MP11 and the lowest wall shelf - plenty of room to click the power switch. thumb thumb grin

Building a pull out shelf should be straight forward with some 3/4" plywood, 2X3's for stiffening and slide supports, and a set of 200lb drawer slides. It will easily handle the MP11's 71lb weight.

Many thanks,

Dan.

p.s. For reference, here's a linky for the drawer slides: http://www.wwhardware.com/kv-8800-heavy-duty-200-lb-12-drawer-slide-kv8800
