Hello Piano World! I have a few questions. Found a $25 Visa Gift Card, thought hey, maybe I could get some piano stuff with this! I have a piano solo book with plenty of good pieces I can pick up eventually. I'd like to know what you recommend for general books on practicing scales, arpeggios, etc. Or just exercises As well as perhaps a book that contains relatively easier piano sonatinas or tunes that I can practice (most of the stuff in my current book is beyond my level).

Any recommendations are well-appreciated. Thank you!

The Michael Aaron Adult beginner books are OK, they are ancient and therefore can be picked up for pennies, mine cost 25p in a thift shop.

They have scales, finger exercises and each piece introduces something new. There is also a youtube channel which gives a demonstration of every single piece in both books channel Alan Chan. Arrangements are simplified but it has given me a fairly good foundation.

I want to be so good at Piano like VK, that Roland gives me a free piano too!
