This very nice live recording of the famous piece deserves at least one feedback, so let me be the first one to answer you smile The Fantasy sounds very noble and light under your fingers, it's a pleasure to listen to such a "pearly" and perfectly executed Mozart! One could imagine the desperation and hopelessness of the first part to be deeper, and maybe the D Major section which is just "Allegretto" (as far as I remember) could be cheerful without any impatience, just "walking and enjoying the beautiful weather"? That's what came to my mind while listening, but of course this is an excellent version!

What else did you play at that recital? Maybe this was just an encore? The way how you play makes me think like that smile

Thanks for posting! I enjoyed listening. I'll be posting my own version of this sometime soon. Because I'm used to playing things differently, it's really hard for me to make objective comments, although I tend to agree with Tony007's comments.

Hi there, Andreas! Well, this was certainly a polished presentation of a justly well-known composition. I thought that the opening "murk" was just beautifully realized, and the pathos of the melody was effectively projected. I was less convinced by the diminished patterns -- I find those more viscerally threatening, like a predator going after weak prey, so to speak, and so I hear more drama in these and the descending and ascending runs than you brought to it -- but from a pianistic standpoint, it was clean as a whistle. Personally, I agree with your choice of tempo in the "light" section of the Fantasy -- I thought it to be appropriately joyous and buoyant, and never a sense of rushing.

Thanks for sharing this!

Your scale runs and trills are very satisfying to watch and listen to. Everything is clear and "honest", with no superfluous movements or gaps or stops.

You did a phenomenal job with this piece. Thanks for sharing.

Czerny - Op.299 Nos. 5,7 (School of Velocity)

Wonderfully played, but the way the camera is skewing the angle of the piano is hurting my brain. Really what's going on here O_o it looks like the piano is tilted towards the side.

Not bad to make such a relaxed impression when beginning a recital smile What else did you play in this program?
