Hey Chris
Very sophisticated countermelodic treatment and I liked how you came back to inside the changes at the end.

Hey Knots
What do you mean it was a challenge for you ? confused
I loved your strong stride groove, your fusion of Monk's famous tune and your cool RH licks of chords and single note textures.
Beautiful background too.

Hi Chris,

It's nice to see you dig deeper into this style. In that spirit, I will try to post a stride / piano bar very laid back version later this week.
I wish I'd be home today to record. It's absolutely beautiful outside with the snow pouring down.

Until then, here's one we took Monday night. It's changes with what was referred as "an F bridge".

The title on the box file gave it away :-)

I knew it anyway, this was the first track on the first Miles Davis record I bought 40 years ago.

Great by the way, excellent playing from everyone.

Wow Chris !
Nice clean jazz lines PLUS that impressionistic style.....That was very entertaining indeed.

Knotty
I like your new confident tone, it really came through well.
I also liked the instances where you used space.

Here are the rhythm changes for this week.

FB seems to do some serious compression. The sound was not supposed to clip and the video not supposed to be so blurry. But oh well.

hey guys, just messing around and recorded some songs on my keyboard. Sound quality and performance sucks because I can't get good control out of my keys..but I got no mic for proper recording.

well, here's a ballad I like: https://app.box.com/s/yz12p7xklmd96ugjs60m

3 keys on my keyboard doesn't work and the sensitivity is crap. Would sound much better on an acoustic...arghahghgaghag!!!

Hey Wind,
sounds great even with the missing keys and dynamics.
