Whoa that thing is huge, I guess the size increase was necessary for the GF action? Wonder how much it'll weigh? Whatever stand they are using, it looks really wobbly in the video.

It is basically speaker-free CA65 packed into MP10 chasis, right? Not criticizing, just want to get things straight.

And - I want that piano samples in the CA Series. This sounds completely amazing. While CA sounds like "I would like to be big but I am shy and afraid" so, has no character, from this piano energy is going out.

I love this piano sound - I cannot say anything besides BIG WOW - I WANT THIS. Please, put this in some console! Because I don't need stage at home

I think that the MP-line has different features from the CA-line, here is more info on the MP11 (so you can compare for yourself) from Kawai Germany (use Google translate) http://kawai.de/mp11_de.htm

BTW, from the photos, I get the impression that the control surface of the MP11 is pretty broad If you use the MP11 as a bottom board in a 2-keyboard rig, then you either have to set the top board further back or elevate the top board, or do a combination of both. Personally, I am not sure, if I could enjoy such a 2-keyboard rig

Unless Kawai comes up with an iPad app for controlling the MP11 then you could mount the top keyboard right over the control surface, and put the controlling iPad on the music stand of the top keyboard

I'd imagine a slab version of the CA65 with onboard amplifier and speakers would be highly successful with home users. Not everyone needs all the whistles and bells of the MP11. Of course, it would probably be seen as a direct competitor for VPC1 customers as well

The flight case is asymmetric, so you can leave the MP11 in the flight case, even handier

1380 x 453 x 188, so 54.3 * 17.8 * 74.0 in inches and 32.5 kg (71.6 pounds), so it isn't much larger or heavier then the MP 10. I thought it looked a lot bigger, so it's only a inch deeper and mostly similar in weight and size to the MP 10?!

Any reason I should now hold off on a vpc1 purchase?
