I saw CarlosCC's upload to box of the recital files for ShiroKuro and I thought I should finally get around to uploading everything.

I know Sam has the index here: http://recitals.pianoworld.com/wiki/index.php/Main_Page

which is really great, but I have gone there a few times to listen and some of the early recordings seem to be missing.

I believe I have everything so far from the first 33 recitals so I put it all in one place.

All 1,804 recordings, 33 recitals, 7.1 GB, over 104 hours, all mp3.

Sam's index actually says 1,805 so I might be missing 1.

You can find them here: http://app.box.com/s/1mj9pvghln7sx28cvfm2

If you go there you might want to sort the folders by NAME to put them in order.

So maybe this might help someone find an old recording that might have otherwise been lost.

These are all uncompressed mp3 files.

The naming standards were a little loose for the first few recitals, that was before we got the automated submission process worked out.

I was going to say mine is missing because the link is broken in the index but the file works on box.com! Thanks for posting this, I haven't heard it in many years and I don't play it anymore. (posted as PootieTooGood)

Thanks Copper - yes the recordings for the first several recitals were stored wherever the performer wanted, so many of the links are broken. I had no idea someone had saved them all.

Maybe I can figure out an easy way to grab the recordings and fix the links.

It's nice that they are saved. Copper I noticed you were one of the few that have participated in all 33 - that's impressive.

I've only been playing for a couple years and have only participated in two recitals and those weren't even consecutive.

Copper, you are a champ.

In case I've never said that.

And Sam knows I think he is. But I'll say it again. Sam, you are a champ.

Thanks so much.

Can I take a course on time management with you? I could use a few extra hundred hours a day smile

Seriously --- that's wonderful that you've got these records!
