I ruled out Fazioli in the F-Maj section of the Cathedral. I've gone 'round and 'round with this, and after ruling out some brands, I'd venture it is a Steingraeber or a Grotrian. But, I could be sooooooooooo wrong!

Whatever it is, it is a very beautiful instrument!

It is so difficult to tell from a recording. When I place microphones close to the strings vs away from the piano, my piano sounds very different.

I think its pointless to guess, but clearly the piano sounds great we would all agree.

It's a beautiful piano whatever it is. An older Steinway B? Another guess is a Shigeru Kawai SK6? I Know that you had a very nice Kawai RX5.

Enjoy it!

Robert.

My vote would be a Steingraeber.
Thats just me.
Congrats on the playing, thats what really counts.
Best way ever to announce a new piano!

Is it "BRAND" NEW, like right out of the box?
Or is it USED and just NEW to you?

Very nice whatever it is. I'm not guessing. Because I would be totally guessing.

The 'winner' is Ulrich having a beautiful new piano.

Guessing a brand by the sound of computer speakers is as
unprecise as things can get..

... so I try my luck:
The piano sounds - at least with the small speakers of my laptop - different to my Grotrian. It sounds more transparent on the other hand I miss the "wooden" Grotrian tone in the tenor section. Maybe the domicile of Ulrich (Berlin!!) is a hot lead. My guess is: C.Bechstein semi concert grand C 234.
