It was my understanding that Rossy has very limited access to the Internet these days and won't be able to participate for a while. It was unclear as to when he would be able to return however. I miss him too! frown

Whenever he does return I'm sure he'll have a lot to catch up on! smile

Happy New Year, all smile

How's the new job going, Aimee? Is that why you've not been about as much?

It's good to hear from you Becca! You have been missed. Since you're close to my area, I assume you've got that sub zero weather happening too! Stay warm! smile

Hi Griffin,
I will wait for Rossy's return too whenever that is.

Btw when was your birthday. Mine was Dec 31. Did u notice 69 people had birthdays on the 1st of Jan? it's the highest number. I just noticed while flipping through the calendar thinking that you might have been born close to me after I saw AimeeO's comment above.

Hi Farm Girl! My birthday is December 7. I have several friends (as well as my spouse) who celebrate our birthdays together in December. It's fun.

A very sensuous video of Nicola Benedetti, probably even provocative, but her version of this tango is beautiful.

Good night from this side of the Atlantic.

Did I forget to 'New Year' everyone? My apologies. (Re: Edit: Just gone back-a-page and realised I didn't forget) Apologies accepted for missing my birthday on the 16th AimeeO, no worries laugh

Here's a lovely version of 'Passenger's - Let Her Go' by Birdy. [Currently dealing with 'stuff' and some seriously naughty doggy's (said weren't having any more, but don't we all wink )] Enjoy and goodnight <3 Speak soon x

I'm sorry I missed your birthday too, Wayne!! Lol I am glad you accept my apologies.

Carl, Richard, the new job is awesome! I am getting more out of it than I thought possible. It's nice to want to go to work.

I am still working at my old job one day a week - so I'm working 6 days a week. My last day at my old job will be Feb 1 so hopefully I will be around more! I hope I can finally get a normal sleep schedule. My old job is 6pm-2am, and my new desk job is normal daytime hours. Since I'm doing both my system is still confused- right now I am in this weird sleep thing where I fall asleep on the couch for 3 hours when I get home, wake up at 10pm and go to bed at 1 :00 or 2:00am, and wake up at 6:30 am. Icky! My last day at my old job will be Feb 1... Can't wait! I can not tell you how excited I am to be leaving the service industry before Mardi Gras. I am giddy!

My first Saturday off will be well spent.. We are going go to see the Louisiana Philharmonic perform Prokofiev concerto no 3 and Ravel's Bolero.

Anyway.. I miss posting but will be back to normal soon! I might even jump into FOYD with you all.

At last I’ve finished the first part of the third volume of Mikrokosmos. When it comes to learn piano, I’m like a snail climbing a mountain laugh .

Now it’s time to try the second part of this volume.

Congratulations Recaredo! That's quite an accomplishment. I think the snail pace is the way to get firmly grounded in your studies.

BTW, I enjoyed listening to your post this morning. It inspires me to do my work as well. Thanks!

You're welcome, Carl!

I've enjoyed this wonderful rendition on the arpeggione sonata by Schubert this afternoon. So beautiful and deep piece of music.
