Amazon is ready to deliver YOUR music scores to YOUR door in 30 minutes!

My guess is that if amazon.com is doing that FTC has a lot more in their hands, than piano teacher! tee hee hee!

It comes with a wireless skype connection, and for a small extra charge you can get a piano lesson while the drone hovers.

When I saw the story, the first thing that popped into my mind was an image of Hedwig, and all the other owls, who would routinely drop messages to students at Hogwarts.

Wow. HP was the last thing I ever expected to see mentioned on Pianoworld. laugh

The music from the films would be quite an interesting topic for discussion, though.

Radnich's arrangement of Hedwig's Theme is excellent!

Speaking of which, d'you think Williams might have heard that Mendelssohn SWW Op 19/5 shortly before jotting down this little ditty? grin

you know, I'm just afraid of getting hit in the head by one of these things. And what do you do with the yellow tubs after the drone leaves?

The future is not as bright as it seems and Greg is fair to be worried.

People have been quoted to say "It's time to get my shotgun out!". I think that drone hunt is yet to begin, but if it's carrying any of those overprices Henle scores, many pianists will shoot to kill (the drones). grin

and the question about the yellow tubs is easily answered: Recycle my friend. Never heard of it? Shame on you! grin

This is probably actually going to be a very real crime issue if Amazon does start using this delivery method - people just shooting the drones down, and taking the stuff.

Of course I've heard of recycling, Nikolas! I live in the recycling state (most of the time).

It's just that you'd think they'd want them back...or something...

Buy your own drone, and send the boxes back to the warehouse under it. grin

Drone technology is one of the few things government management has improved in recent years.

Perhaps there could be a positive role for drones in improving implementation of the Affordable Care Act? Maybe in the application process, to reduce loads on the website; maybe prescription deliveries...

We need to leverage the rare technological edges we have.
