I have transcribed and learned these three covers. Do you think they represent the jazz stylings of today?

I don’t know about ‘representing’ todays jazz styles. Jazz is a broad arena these days, you may as well have picked …

Agree! I like the "New Orleans" style jazz myself. Some jazz sounds like a cat got up on the keys... with a mouse! grin

I have always like Bobo Stenson for the past 30 years, but isn't he very derivative of Keith Jarrett?

Well going by history it was actually Keith Jarrett who stole Bobo Stensons band in 1974.
But nobody is beyond being derivative, not even Jarrett. His style in the early years sounds very like Paul Bley of that period.

Interesting. I have listened to Bley. Is there a particular track by Bley that displays what Jarrett derived?

Maybe the 'Turning point' album ... Bley said that Jarrett had that album down note for note, don't know how true that is though.

there's lots of new "jazz" today. Would you call Jamie Cullum jazz? And Glasper and Esperanza are doing their own thing and mixing in lots of fresh elements.

Funny I prefer that to the old classic of Wynton Marsalis. I don't like that style.
