Recently got this DP. The bass register is a little bit too bombastic. Is there anyway to tone it down a bit?

Or is there any optimal volume to make the piano speakers sound good?

Thanks!

I expect there are settings to adjust the instrument's EQ. If so, it should be relatively easy to take the bass level down a notch or two.

This has been mentioned on here before with the 50x DP's although not using the word bombastic! Did you try it before purchase?

I do not think there is a built in Eq, but settings for piano designer, the lid, soundboard and cabinet settings, or just another piano voice. After that it's an external Eq with headphones or external speakers, but that's a new can of worms.

Yes I did try it before purchase. It's within acceptable level for me, but I am just wondering if there are such settings.

I remember I read somewhere that people have different piano designers settings for speakers and headphones.

Of course there is built-in EQ, which you can easily use to tone down the bass (it works better this way then vice versa, trying to amplify treble).
I've had some experience with the previous model, which had similar "issue", but I think I learned to use the strong bass as an asset.
