Ok, I'll put you back on the wagon - hang in there and good luck with the last 2 pieces in your book!

I'm proud to announce that: Even though I was in a power outage for 32 hours. I still did not miss a day.

Hey, Cas, I'm hereby declaring myself completely out of MOYD 2013. I missed the entire summer and can't see counting myself among the Masters this year even if special dispensation were offered.

Are you going to be managing MOYD 2014? It must take a fair amount of time, and your dedication is greatly appreciated!

Hi Deborah,

Ok, I'll take you off the list - you can try again next year if you feel like it.

I don't know if I'll do MOYD 2014. It doesn't actually take very much work. I have done it for a few years now though and I am wondering if someone else might enjoy doing it.

Please may I be excused for this last Saturday?

I was out of town, and although I took my music with me, there was not a piano available at the beach condo. I did practice extra before and after though!

I do hope you'll continue to host this! I find it quite inspiring and it does get me to practice much more consistently. Since I started (May 2012) I haven't missed except when traveling or one time when we had a houseguest in the hospital.

Ok, you're excused for Saturday..
Don't worry - even if I don't do MOYD next year someone will. I think I'm the third or 4th MOYD thread coordinator since it started up.

Cas put me down for missing yesterday (OCT17). I had an OOT funeral and was exhausted when I got in. Thanks

Late October is always bad for me -- I took the NP-11 to Taiwan this past week but was so busy with work that I only practiced once. I'll play my acoustic piano tonight and tomorrow, but then I fly off to more business meetings where I will get in little if any practice until Thursday.

After that the rest of the year looks pretty good, though!

So I'm asking to be excused for the last several days and the start of the next week -- then I'll be back at it.

I hate when work interferes with my music. smile

This is probably one of the lamest MOYD confessions ever. My roommate bought some ambient music CDs (Fripp & Eno) and while we were listening to these ambient music CDs, I fell right to sleep. Zzzzzz.... woke up bright & early laugh and delinquent for MOYD frown

I practiced bright and early this morning, though. Hopefully I've learned my lesson about late night practice habits. Please demerit/restart me as appropriate smile

Please step aside. You're standing in your own way.

Oh, you must have been very tired!

What a lovely way to be lulled to sleep,--- too bad about MOYD though, ah well, what can you do?

You're back on the wagon my dear.

Cas, please mark me out of town for Oct 17-20. We were in Rapid City at the dog show. Yes, Mystique WON. Best of breed two days. A worthwhile trip.
Back to playing...
