hello everyone , so I've been playing from 22/8 this year , am self-taught and unfortunatly can't get a teacher right now. Thats why I did this video of some random pieces and playing and share it here so you can critisize and analyze it and advise me.

OK I just watched like 2 minutes but I think I have an idea of your technique.

You tend to play staccato when you have the pedal down. Playing legato will help you shape it more easily.

You don't seem to use the right body parts to play various things. Combine whole arm, forearm, hand, and finger movements to achieve efficient playing.

Try to keep your first knuckles higher than your second knuckles.

Is that keyboard weighted? If not, that's a problem. I ask because it looks like, e.g. in Fantasie-Impromptu, your fingers seem to be pressing the keys from the surface instead of hitting the keys from the air, which is the default technique for anything louder than mp.

Try to differentiate voices, according to melody, bass, accompaniment.

My initial reaction is that you have much to learn about basic technique : about playing legato, about phrasing, about balance and voicing, and it would be advisable to
- play a piece that is within your technical grasp from beginning to end
- avoid using brief "snippets" of demanding works that you cannot play as examples of your performance and technique.

I don't think that any meaningful advice can be given based on the brief excerpts that you have provided.

Regards,

BruceD
