You`ve had a few responses here. I like your style greatly. Where did you start? (if you don`t mind me asking)

Not bad. But I play this piece, 4' 33", better, IMHO.

Spanishbuddha, have you ever been to a performance of 4'33"? The piece is quite a bit more serious than you think. First of all, it needs to be 4'33" - with a beginning, and an end.

If you look for a piece for everyone, and everywhere, check out 0'00" by the same composer.

Yes thanks. I do 'get it'. ... and despite my scientific background where art was not one of the serious disciplines.

I was just trying to humorously point out that there seems to be a link missing in the referenced post.

What are you on about? I see the link!

But then again, I see dead people.

Here's a link to my own tour de force of dazzlingly technically proficient playing on my acid jazz version of "how much is that doggy in the window":

Sounds loike (Cornish accent) ya can`t quite manage "What shall we do with the drunken sailor?" which is a must for any self respecting pianist . . . .

Hi Spanishbuddha

I don't see the link you've posted. Could you repost please?

So do you play it more slowly?

Does anyone know the Shearing piano version of Over the Rainbow?

Last week my father was playing this very particular version. But when I play for people, not everyone appreciate this kind of arrangement (I mean G.Shearing arrangement).

Maybe mine is more user friendly laugh laugh
