Hi,
New to the forum.
just starting the piano again (well a Yamaha Clavinova) after many years.
I started piano lessons aged 8 and finished age 15.(got to grade 4 Trinity collage of music)
I'm probably one of many that wished they had not packed up wink
Any way a cousin, who plays very well gave me his older Clavinova as he bought himself a new one.
I'm getting on a bit now, and would love to play for my grandchildren (also for me of course)

Can anyone guide me to a good sheet music site? Free would be a bonus,

Oh and do people have Clavinovas serviced at all?

Thanks

Bob

Edit: can I "subscribe" to this or any post on this forum?

If you love classical or other music in the public domain, imslp.org is the first site to try.

Welcome to the forum, Clavibob! smile

Yes, people have their Clavinovas serviced. The people in the digital forum will know more about that, so you may want to start a thread over there.

And it is possible to subscribe to certain threads (i.e., get notified when somebody adds a new post). At the top of the page of a thread you want to subscribe to, click on "topic options" and then pick "add to watched topics." Also, if you go to "My stuff" you can edit all your watched topics and forums.

Clavibob, welcome to PW! You're in the right place.
You are lucky to have a cousin who offers pianos! thumb

Looking forward to read some posts about your progress.

Probably not unless there are obvious problems that interfere with playing/functionality.
