While some artists gain or at least visually support their musical articulation by almost histrionic body movements, others gain their comparable musical expression without such obvious movements. In any case, certain body movements will for sure be helpful to easier get certain keystroke sequences properly under control, in the sense of giving them consistently a desired tone.

I would like to better control the tone of my playing. Therefore, would somebody know a tutorial on how certain body movements (concerted torso, arm, hand, finger movements) help to consistently gain certain audible effects on musical expression in piano playing? Something reaching beyond a very basic keystroke technique instruction?

(Yes, I have a teacher. I just want to read ahead...)

Abby Whiteside is a very good place to start. I would suggest you avoid the emoting so popular today with the children and watch the veterans of the keyboard play. Here you will peal away all of the non-sense and see fundamentally great playing. You will find as a rule the older the player the more economical and less comical their playing gestures. You will also find about as many "methods" as players. Experiment around and look for the most relaxed and efficient technique for your physiology. Good luck.

Former concert pianist and piano pedagogue Seymour Bernstein's 20 Lessons in Keyboard Choreography comes to mind (I think he also has several video tutorials on his youtube account).

Also, take a look at some of the link topics mentioned here: http://www.pianostreet.com/smf/index.php?topic=12590.msg135990#msg135990

There are a few links to threads that discuss how to discern the necessary motions to play any passage consistently well and in another, I also saw Abby Whiteside's name mentioned.
