I played piano for about 4 years when I was younger. I still remember all the key and basic hand motions just want to find some good online lessons. Can anyone recommend a great online website to learn from? I dont mind paying a monthly fee just want to get my moneys worth.

What about Skype lessons with a teacher? Having the personalization of your lessons and feedback on what you're doing is much better than a website. (I think websites are great resources for information, but not great for your only source of learning).

For $20 a month you can get a boatload of lessons.

The only issue is whether or not what he offers is what you want to learn.

I think you can get a week for free just to see how it goes.

Definitely worth looking into.

For classical training I would recommend ...

http://www.fundamentalkeys.com

Here, you purchase a method book and she provides videos for few bucks (3, I think) each that instructs on how to play it.

She is a classically trained pianist and does a nice job of instructing.

She also offers private lessons via Skype.

I would first checkout Andrew Furmanczyk, Piano Academy

It is totally free, no strings. He was recuperating from an illness and being bored and a nice guy he created this site. It started as just YouTube postings and kind of grew from there.

He also as a companion Music Theory course LINK

I also like Piano with Willie especially for popular music, but for free this is an excellent source of the fundamentals of classical piano and should be part of anyone's bookmarks regardless of style. Andrew comes off a little corny at times but he know's his stuff.

I have free video lessons at my website. I'm going to primarily be teaching how to play songs note by note for those that don't want to get bogged down in theory (not that that's a bad thing - it's just time consuming). The website is brand new, so right now I have 11 videos teaching how to play Fur Elise - all 3 movements. But I plan to have many more songs in the near future.

If you want to start learning theory as well, I will slowly be teaching theory on my blog. Here is a link directly to my video lessons page:

Best of luck!
