Hi Jose, The option of choice would be an ürtext version from Henle, with the blue cover and really good binding and printing. And very expensive. http://www.henle.com/en/home/index.htmlYou could also look at a Weiner ürtext, and see how much that costs and which ones they have available. Baerenreiter I'm sure also makes an ürtext of the sonatas, and possibly the other things as well. These are both beautifully produced and bound, and also expensive. https://www.baerenreiter.com/nc/en/http://www.wiener-urtext.com/The three versions you have links to are all American reprints of European editions (Peters or Brietkopf, I think) made before WWII. They therefore do not benefit from the latest musicological research and editing. Also, they are cheaply made and bound, won't last long, and look pretty ugly. which is why their prices are so low.

I agree that the Henle edition is the way to go. I think the Mozart sonata are in two volumes. While the Henle books are more expensive, they will last a lifetime, so the initial cost is not that out of line.

Henle, or Wiener Urtext (the latter is great).

It lays very nicely on the piano desk, and lasts at least 30 years, which is how old my copy is!

Amazon is not the best place to shop for good piano scores.
Henle is the best. I believe that the Wiener Urtext is the Henle edition.
Actually, this sort of question is best asked in the Pianist Corner or Teachers Forum.

The Broder edition is very good as to text. The Kalmus is very old, but the editor had access to material which has since been lost.

I believe that the Wiener Urtext is the Henle edition. Not so.

Maurus,
You are absolutely correct. I had thought that Hettrich was the editor for both, and I was incorrect.
