Thank you!

It goes along with my 50/50 thoughts. One-half of the world has played the piano while the other half wished they had. A lifelong love and challenge.

Well, on bad days I've been known to say, "Why the eff did I try to learn the piano!!!"

Well, it`s either piano or toy trains. Or the bike. Or drawing. Or talking the dog out. Or amusing the grandkids. Or keeping The Wise and Wonderful One happy . . .
Time for another coffee . . .

Yes, learning the piano is so awesome. It is dirt cheap because a piece of music can be had for a few dollars and take weeks, months, or years to learn.

You only need you and the piano to have an awesome time any time of the day or night.

A piano is great company because you don't have to do anything for the piano and they don't stay too late or arrive too early. They are always there for you at the right moment and are constantly in a state of entertaining.

They affect/effect our emotions without ever touching you.

There are people that talk about the books they would want to read if they were stuck on an island. But if you had only a piano, you could play what you had learned and spend your time writing music.

It is amazing why more people or everyone doesn't want to learn to play the piano - especially now that digitals are 300 dollars and dropping in price.

And no one would ever say that a piano is too expensive, or too heavy or too large because they are 16 pounds or less, $300 or less, can be slid under a single bed and played night or day without disturbing anyone or anything.

With my kids' reluctance to practice piano, I would think they wished they never started either -

- and then any random stranger or friend comes over and they go right to the piano to play (show off).

*slaps forehead*

Learning to play since June 2009.
