I currently use Music Teacher Helper for all of my scheduling and books. Wondering what everyone else uses for the business end of things. I'm also a freelance musician. Does anyone know if I can use MTH to manage that as well? Thanks!

I have considered using a site like that. What is the charge for this service?

Seems there are a few online sites that could be helpful.

It's a great program. I think I pay $29 a month and it does everything for you. However I am also a freelance musician and I haven't found a way to use this program to manage that part of my business.

$29 a month is too much for me, so, I am using free google document to help myself.

Gosh, there are so many free and lost cost accounting programs, why not take a couple of hours and explore their features. Surely one of them will meet your needs. Or you could just use a spread sheet. I developed one to fit my studio's needs more than 20 years ago. It does everything I need and really doesn't need all the cosmetic fancy Dan features that modern accounting programs offer.

guess where in CA and WA
I just use Quiken, and I make up invoices and payables/receivables logs by hand using Excel.

I've tried several times to use Music Teacher's Helper, but oddly enough as soon as I click the "Sign up" link, it will simply never work on my computer. It will start loading and never finish. I even emailed their technical support team and they said they couldn't figure out what the problem was, as everything seemed to be working fine. I've tried both Safari and Firefox - does anybody have any experience with this?

I use quicken, which merges with my business checking account. Keeps everything nice and neat without a monthly charge.
