I got rid of my old upright piano 4 years ago because i moved into an apartment. it was too loud for the apartment neighbors. but i missed it very much.

recently i just found out about digital piano.(dumb me!! i didnt know digital piano existed until this year!!!) So i started looking for a digital piano so I can practice in my apartment. I wanted kawai ca series, but i cant afford it. I did some research, was looking at Casio ap450,px850 or kawaicn23. Then I found out kawai's new cn24. so i emailed my local dealer to get it. The dealer had it delivered to me on the next day!!

this is how it looks like. I found out that when i press the soft pedal, the sound doesnt change that much. unlike a real piano. But overall I am satisfied. I like its sound, keys and look.

These are some old sheets i got from a local trade site. The oldest was published in 1894, and some 1960 piano exam sheets! (o.0) its about 40 books in total and only for 40nzd, which is around 30usd.

Congrats on your new piano!

I love the classic look of those old sheets too - great find!

Cheers,

Wrong! Name of the song is: Night and day.

By the way: I have a CN34. Also very happy.
Good luck.

The soft pedal will probably be more effective if you have the keyboard touch sensitivity as soft, which means the piano plays louder (for people who have a soft touch . . )

It's difficult to find any piano that can beat the Kawai range. I collect old sheet music and I notice you have "The Hundred Best Short Classics", I also have the same book....priced 2/6d (US$0.12)....a blast from the past price.:-)

Yes, the packing box clear shows an 'R' beside the model number - indicating the Rosewood finish.

Did you happen to try out the CA15?
I am between the two and I am wondering if the wooden keys really make a huge difference.
Unfortunately I can not find any of the two to try out myself.

No I didnt. But some people say ca115's keys are better and feels more like a real piano.
