I'm a pianist who has always played on acoustic pianos. I recently moved into a condo in a different state and had to donate my upright. I've always disliked the feel of digital pianos, but it looks like this is my only option.

I have a few questions on this Kawai digital piano:

Does anybody have any information on ths CN21 with how it compares to today's standards?

What is a good price point on a used one?

How is the action and feel?

If anybody has any recommendations of a piano with great feel, sound, and at least 64 polyphony, and for about $300, I'd like to be told some of those as well! Thank you so much.

I've never tried it, but I know Kawai makes very realistic feeling digital pianos. Someone else did a review of it on this forum:

PercMastaFTW,

The CN21 is an entry-level console digital piano initially launched in early 2007. While still a good starter piano, I believe that keyboard and sound technology has improved considerably in the past 5-6 years.

$300 is a fair price to pay for an older, entry-level model such as the CN21, however given your acoustic piano background, I would recommend saving for a little longer to purchase a more modern instrument.

Kind regards,
James
