Here's a little Prelude in three-four. Score will be out soon. I managed to get some dynamics in there, but no tempo changes. Midi can be frustration, especially with a piece marked 'con moto' such as this. Apologies! http://picosong.com/RgKM/

Wow, that sounds digital! Lol, can you make a video of that, I would love to see it! Amazing m8. I listened to another 'Prelude' earlier that you submitted on new years eve. Both incredible, I gotta switch to your coffee..

Tell someone that you love them today because life is short, but scream it in German because life is also terrifying and confusing.

Both incredible, I gotta switch to your coffee.. Hehe.. Thanks, Soza. Actually, it is digital. I used a notation software to plug in the notes then saved it to midi and converted it to mp3 via online, then uploaded it to Picosong. Though this process greatly compromises the quality of the music, and ultimately the listener's experience, I do it because it's really the only way I have of getting my music out there in audible form right now. I hope people will at least read through it at their piano when the score comes out!

Oh man, Im sorry, at least I feel like I should be apologizing,I am a little unclear. Does that mean that you don't actually play the piano in it at all, you created it solely with a mouse and keyboard? If so, thats really cool,it is beautiful! Sorry for any stupid questions, I'm afraid I'm pretty new to this.

I just noticed you are new here. Welcome! There are no stupid questions. Actually, I will probably make a video of this piece some day. It isn't as hard as it sounds. (Except the climax. That's pretty tricky.)

That's a nice joyful little romp, thoroughly enjoyable. I was thinking the block chord ending was a bit of a departure from the rest of the piece and wondered if you'd considered arpeggiating the last chord like the bulk of the piece? Just a one time up and back down to finish it off. I know, crazy idea, but I thought it might be cool. Thanks for posting.

Soza: Thanks again.
Steve: I think I agree. I'll give it a look.

Steve: I went ahead and tried something different. How do you like it? (I also changed the left hand arpeggiation after the climax for a smoother transition.) Thoughts? http://picosong.com/RgpE/

With regards to the score, do I need to notate every single tuplet, or can I just notate the first measure and make the rest invisible?

I think you can trust the pianist to be able to intuit this, but I'd have to see the score to say for certain (from my point of view). What the "rule" is, I'm not sure I know..
Every day we are afforded a new chance. The problem with life is not that you run out of chances. In the end, what you run out of are days.

With regards to the score, do I need to notate every single tuplet, or can I just notate the first measure and make the rest invisible? If it is beamed notes (for instance three eighth notes connected by one beam) the "3" is not necessary at all - any pianist would instantly know it is a triplet in one beat. But if it were three unbeamed notes (such as three quarter notes in the time of a half note) then one needs the number "3" and a bracket to inform the eye. Maybe someone here has differing thoughts on it . . . p.s. - it is a really nice piece of music, the midi-type rendition doesn't do it justice - I think this type of music needs a lot of finesse from a pianist to bring out the primary melodic voice and also to keep the others from sounding monotone or intrusive . . . M.

A score would be helpful. "Score will be out soon." You said that 3 days ago. Isn't that an eternity, by PianoWorld standards?
