Does anyone who is familiar with the Pianodisc systems know if it possible to get a control unit for an older PDS128 system or if it is possible to use a more modern control unit on the old PDS128 system.Talking about a Yamaha Grand with a PDS128 system fitted where someone has kindly unscrewed and taken the control unit from the front. Why? Who knows?

Hi Lushey,

I know that those control units are no longer available from PianoDisc directly. I guess the only way is to find someone who has one for sale privately.

You could try emailing tech@pianodisc.com. Maybe they have a used unit available. Good luck!

A belated Thank you for your reply Rich,
I have managed to source a Control unit but now need a power supply.Do you happen to know if the currently available power supplies will work on this older,PDS128 system?

We just removed a 128 from a grand. It worked fine, but I was going to dispose of it. Shipping might be prohibitive though. You can PM me if you want it.

Hi Kieran,
I would certainly be interested in the power supply if you were prepared to send it.I am guessing that I can adapt it to our system here which is 240v/50 HZ with a three-pin plug.I am prepared for large shipping costs.Happens all the time for us.
