I fell in love with the piano after playing on a cheap DP this month. I'm looking to buy a good digital piano for about $500 for a beginner.

Don't know what they cost in the US but I'd have thought the Yamaha p-105 or Casio PX-150.

Typically $599. (The P35 is $449)

I'd suggest saving up a bit more than $500, and getting the P105 or PX-150.

There's a substantial step-up from the P35 to _either_ of those two.

PS -- bias -- I have a PX-350.
