WOW this is AWESOME!! I've played this piece too, and it's definitely tricky in some places. But you handle it really well. I don't really have too much I can say about it, except keep up the good work.

thank you orange soda king, I think this is one of the most difficult pieces I have ever played. I'm so happy that you liked it. And ... I wish I record some Alkan before the year ends ...

This is quite an accomplishment. Congratulations!

There were places where I would prefer a more distinct phrasing.

It is a demanding piece technically and you seem to have overcome those difficulties successfully.

Thanks for sharing.

Love this piece! Great job! It's in my to-do pile but I just have the first couple of pages (what a pain to read (for me))

Critique: maybe 2 bpm faster. smile
Suggestion: post more.

thank you very much for all your encouraging words. I'm so happy that you liked.

@Damon - it is always a pain to read Prokofiev for me too.

This is awesome! I like Prokofiev a lot, and this frenzy sounds just right. Thanks for sharing and well done.

Can,

This is one of the two most difficult works I've ever studied! The other one is the Scriabin etude Op. 42, No. 5! With Prokofiev I managed to perform it in public, at a slightly slower tempo than you, but with Scriabin, I never moved past the studying (intensely) phase...)

So I feel that I know this piece!

Your performance is exquisite in short! It's right on the point, I see that every detail in the small things has been taken part (though I'd love much more pedal in the half time bass line at around 2:40... which is a personal thing, rather than anything else).

It's right there!

I'm jealous right now! grin
