With the advent of the new whippen model (from Schwander type to Erard type , but the modifications where not only about the springs) the jack angle opened... Professional of the profession. Foo Foo specialist I wish to add some kind and sensitive phrase but nothing comes to mind.!

It change the hammer throw during letoff yes but there is another reason . As it oblige to use longer letoff dowels or screws it may have a reason to be used, if not only the shape of the whippen would have changed (with Erard springs and the raising of the whippen center) Tip : That said it is not even "perfect", in the aspect I think of Last edited by Olek; 06/29/13 03:59 AM.
