Hello musicmad,

Enjoyed listening to your new composition. Perfect fit with the current sound of the rain falling as I look outside my windows in to the forest. What's the difference between the dry and wet version as you call them? I didn't notice any difference.

Hi and welcome back.

Genre of your piece is New Age. The background or ambient mood found in your piece makes it New Age. Piano is a great instrument to creat such moods.

Grieg--various pieces

There is a subtle difference in the wet and dry versions. The dry being studio small, and the wet being concert hall. Surprised you coulden't tell them apart.

Thanks for your comment.

Would anyone else agree with Shuberts comment? As i assumed the piece to be more soundtrack-ish.

Hi, musicmad -- I agree with Schubertslieder -- this type of music would be placed amongst the "New Age" CDs, alongside George Winston, Spencer Brewer, Liz Story, John Tesh, et al.
And that's not half bad company to be with. Our local Panera offers music of this sort as background, and it's very pleasant to listen to in the early morning, over a danish and cup of coffee.
