Thought I'd share my elation over my soon to be delivered 5th and FINAL piano; Totally restored 1912 Mason & Hamlin BB. Over 60 years ago my Dad got my 1st piano, an old clunker out of a church basement (later, we found to be home to a family of mice!)then to the Baldwin Hamilton after the Old Man decided he might get his moneys' worth out of the lessons. Moving along to the Knabe grand and then the Yamaha G3. The M&H scheduled for today or tomorrow. Haven't been this excited since puberty! It's been a long trip!

I'm with Steve. The "BB" is one of the great piano designs. You'll love playing it.

As you can see, my BB is a 1918. The BBs from this era are simply to die for! I know exactly how you feel getting yours. I felt just like that ten years ago when I got mine. I felt it was the find of a lifetime.

Enjoy your new piano!!! I know you will! Heck, I put the lid all the way up on mine a few days ago and fell in love with it all over again!!!!
