Here's a recording from January, fire away!

Overall, a very nice sense of style, hujidong -- very Rachmaninov, in the sighing, melancholic mode (which IMO he was best at). A few comments, which really is more a matter of personal preference more than anything:

1 I think the left hand tends to be too predominant in the opening statement. THe gestures are appropriate and beautiful, but I need to here the "song" in higher relief against this elegant accompaniment. By contrast, I DO hear the song more clearly in a later restatement with a simpler left hand, and that's more satisfying to me.

2 I would seek to increase contrast between the 2nd theme in the major key, probably with a slightly faster speed and perhaps a touch of rubato, although Rachmaninov helps you out there by writing with a suggestion of improvisation in that section already. Right now, I'm not getting a sufficient "signal" that the "B" section is upon us, with a much lighter, happier frame of mind.

3 In the restatement of the minor theme, I believe I'd like more of an obbligato feel in all the filigree; a stronger suggestion of a melody against more whispering accompaniment.

4 In the concluding passage, I would make more of the short recapitulation of the major theme, prior to finishing in minor mode -- I just feel it's really the most sensitive and beautiful statement in the composition, and like to see it showcased to some extent.

Very musical playing, though, and thanks for sharing this!

Nicely played!

I agree with Tim's comments. In addition to his 2nd comment, I think you could add a little more time before starting the B section to allow for the change in mood and let the last phrase of the A section terminate properly.

And finally, for my taste I would like your triplets to sing more/belong more to the melody at around 4:00 instead of falling away.
