I liked the Bieber one. You have some good chops.

Swofford, can't give you much feedback as I am only a beginner (6 months). But I do have an appreciation for music and your playing flowed very nicely, I enjoyed listening to you and it is easy to see you do really do love music as you expressed on your channel.

If I might be so bold though, if you want to progress as a pianist you will have to tackle more difficult pieces. I thought I saw in your youtube clips a pattern of pieces with mostly broken chord bass lines, which taken as a whole started to sound the same. I could be wrong as I said I am not the best one to give advice. However I did spend forty years playing guitar and after 10 years never progressed at all. I now deeply regret that waste, and would always council others never to settle but to strive hard at this wonderful instrument.

The recital forums here are a great resource to listen to, as you can hear other members who have been playing for similar periods. While everyone is individual in their ability it does at least give a benchmark.

Problems with piano are 90% psychological, the other 10% is in your head.

My Heart Will Go On is not easy. It's marked as hard in a tutorial I have. That's the one I listened to and it was played very well by you (Swofford.)

I like your version of River Flows in You. Do you play by ear or you use sheet music? Either way...good stuff!

Adult beginner since January 2013. My only regret is that I didn't learn sooner.
