Looking for a good app that will scroll the sheet music as I play. WOuld like to find one that I can actually read the music...so far most of them have pretty small font.

So, what are you using?

Not sure what you mean by scrolling the music as you play, but I use ForScore and love it. Of course the ipad has a smaller screen - if your files are pdf, the app won't change the font, but you can zoom it if you want it larger, if you need to you can turn the ipad to landscape mode and view half a page.

By scrolling, I mean it uses the microphone and follows where you are in the score and "turns the page" for you.

I'll take a look at ForScore too. thanks

For what it's worth, I think only systems that require input from you (Bluetooth or air-turn or something) will work properly. If you look at ForScore it will only automatically do it based on a metronome and then by set number of beats early. Think about a human page turner; they get ready to turn without prompting but need an actual nod or indicator to make the turn.

I use presto keys, although don't know if you can set it up with a microphone. I use is connected to my dp, it can scroll either midi files you upload or will randomly scroll or flash notes or chords in a wide variety of settings and difficulties.

Problems with piano are 90% psychological, the other 10% is in your head.

Downloaded ForScore last night. Haven't had a chance to import my PDFs yet. Will play with it some this week. Looks like it has a lot of possibilities. Using the metronome to advance the pages might actually help me on my timing as well. Something I woefully ignore too often!

I find the DropBox integration by far the best way to import scores. It also serves as an archive in the event of loss of your tablet.

Also, I've set up ForScore to do half page turns, which I find works well.

I also found "Perform Pro". The font size is larger on it and the scroll a little smoother. But, it has locked up twice on me so far and turns the page completely black. I have a trouble ticket in witht he developers. Will be curious to see what they say.
