These are chord courses to supplement with melody play...that's my goal at the moment. I am also a beginner.

The first one is:
Fast track piano (3 Levels)
http://www.fasttrackpiano.com/Fast_Track_Piano/Home.html

and the 2nd: Chord Piano is Fun
http://www.chordpianoisfun.com/

Even if you don't have experience with these 2 courses per se, any suggestion for other material or your review (or Impression) of these materials is still helpful to me and other beginners who may view this post in the future...

Warm Regards,
Sam

How much do the courses cost? Is it hundreds of dollars?

Everything about learning to play the piano is playing very slowly without mistakes over many months or years, so why would anyone say anything about fast tracking.

The course or courses should say what level it is at and, if there is a contact person, ask them.

Also, it is important for you to know what you want to learn from the course, because you are paying hundreds of dollars to someone somewhere on the planet.

There are lots of community courses with live instructors for group lessons with chords, etc.
Even in small towns there are lots of people who play classical and chord forms of piano so go to a school or music store and ask them and they may be able to help you.

Pianolover85 this forum has a great search function for old posts (search window is in the top left hand side of every page). Just a preliminary search brought up this:

http://www.pianoworld.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/1323298/Rocket,%20Piano%20for%20All,%20or%20Pian.html

I have no knowledge of the two methods you mentioned but I did purchase Piano for All as a supplement to the Alfred method as previously mentioned on another thread. These chord methods all sound about the same, just the intense language(eg play piano in five minutes) just seems to change. If only it were that easy

Problems with piano are 90% psychological, the other 10% is in your head.
