Which do you think is the best digital piano under 2000€ according to this priorities?:

1- Touch, action, sensitivity similar to an acoustic piano
2- Sound

I don't care about extra sounds / functions, the weight, mobility or extern physical aspect.

At the moment I own an ESI K.ON controller that I play with TruePianos software and the trial version of Pianoteq. The main problem of this keyboard is that the keys are quite hard and noisy. That makes it a little bit more difficult to play fast notes, for example.

I've been self-learning to play the piano for 1'5 years now, and I would like a piano that feels like a real one in order to learn properly the playing technique.

I would suggest:

- Kawai VPC1 (if using a software piano)
- Kawai CA15 (if using the built-in piano sounds)

There are a couple of issues... one is that probably nothing will feel exactly like an acoustic, and the other is, even acoustic pianos feel different from each other. So a good Kawai DP will likely feel closer to a Kawai acoustic than any other DP does, but may not feel the most like a Yamaha, or a Steinway, whatever. That said, the Kawais have a softer landing than, say, the Rolands, so that may appeal to your goal of avoiding something "hard and noisy." But it's also a somewhat heavy feeling action, which may or may not we what you want. Yamaha CP5 and Roland FP-7F/FP-80 would be some that are lighter feeling.

Well, probably all of this keyboards have a lighter feeling comparing to my ESI. I measured the weight necessary to depress middle C, and it was about 90g.

In terms of action how does Kawai VPC1 compare to roland FP-7F/FP-80?
It's quite uncomfortable to always be depending on the computer, but if the action is better, as the price is lower, I would think about it.

Also, is it worth the extra money for the FP-80 versus FP-7F?
