I saw a Yamaha piano, seems like B1 (layman style, no front legs). It was made in 1975. The owner asked for $1150. What is the fair price for this piano?
Thanks.

There was no model B1 until just last year.

Perhaps it is an M1. If so, and it get checked out by a qualified technician, it is something to consider.

Are you sure? It seems it is a b1 by looking at the picture.
I will try to post a picture.

The B1 has been available for many years. My neighbor has one they brought with them from East Asia years ago.

Ah, my mistake. I was referring to the US market. There was no B1 in 1975 here. Was their one overseas at that time?

I am not sure it is a B1. It is a cabinet upright piano, no front legs. It was made in Japan. It is in Canadian market. Any idea about this piano?

It won't be a b1, but yamaha produced several compact uprights with that style and size of case over the years. I've no idea about usa prices but if you'd do well to have it inspected by a qualified tech in the area who knows the market. It doesn't seem like an out of the ordinary price
