Hi everyone. I am looking for information about young chang model LC-110. I am looking for a used piano and found this one. The owner said they purchased it in 2000 new. The serial number T00020718, I can't really locate anywhere...

Anyhow, was it a good piano? What is something like that worth today, supposedly in very good condition.

Thank you very much,

Svetlana

Svetlana :

It seems, from the source I have, that this model, a 43" upright, was made in the Tianjin, China factory in 1999. "Very good condition" is so subjective - depending upon who is saying it - that it is almost meaningless. The only way to verify that it is in "very good condition" is to have a technician check the piano.

I can't give you any information on whether or not this particular model was a "good" piano, but at 43", it is a console model, not terribly promising for any serious piano study.

You should ask your question in the Piano Tuner-Technicians Forum.

Regards,

BruceD

Bruce -- thank you very much for your reply. I am looking for a piano for my 8 year old son. Yes, I will have a tech come with me and examine it. I just could not find what year it was made and where.

Sincerely,

Svetlana
