And there are musical pieces titled "Poem" that aren't poems.

And they are always referred to as Songs Without Words, so as not to confuse them with his actual songs, of which he wrote many. smile

OK, Nobody's brought up what I think is a salient point, so I'll dive in:

"Do you think anyone's able to play the 'Circus Galop' by Hamelin?"

Would anybody want to? It's not really very good as a piece. I don't think it would be worth the trouble.

And Islamey is still harder.

The anti-song pendants are so anal-retentive that they one-point compactify Euclidian space every time they sit down.

Don't let them discourage you; I promise, the forums are welcoming enough!

Beethoven - Op.49 No.1 (sonata 19)
Czerny - Op.299 Nos. 5,7 (School of Velocity)
Liszt - S.172 No.2 (Consolation No.2)

Dream piece:
Rachmaninoff - Sonata 2, movement 2 in E minor

If you're specifically addressing the OP, bear in mind this is an Old Thread, and Veganpilot hasn't posted in over a year.

I read you need 5 hands to play some of the chords. So the answer is no (unless you cheat wink )

Anyhoo... I recently did a Pianomation installation on a Steinway S and we made a video of playback from a few different angles and thought I'd share.

And here's another page that hosts the MIDI file, just in case anyone else wants to have a bit of fun with it: http://www.vgmusic.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=14127

Enjoy!

That's wonderful. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
