I noticed one of them forgot to put lipstick on. Otherwise, they look like twins.

Here, as opposed to there
Last I heard Manny Ax, there was a young man of maybe 13 or 14 standing outside the venue before the recital who so much like the young Chopin from the images we know that I had to ask him if he was aware of the likeness (which he was). It was an amazing thing. On the other hand, I simply don't see the likeness between Chopin, and Khatia.

"And if we look at the works of J.S. Bach — a benevolent god to which all musicians should offer a prayer to defend themselves against mediocrity... -Debussy

"It's ok if you disagree with me. I can't force you to be right."

I think there's more resemblance in the pose than in the physiognomy. In the photograph, Chopin's eyebrows are a straight horizontal line; hers are arched. Chopin's nose is more bulbous than hers. Her lips a fuller than his.

I don't really see much resemblance except, as I wrote, in the pose.

Regards,

I disagree. I noticed her resemblance instantly when I saw her in an interview. No poses there. But it's okay.. resemblance is in the eye of the beholder? smile
